- Caption: Andy following up the first pitch on the way to the summit. The climbing was not difficult, but the snow was awful. It is not clear that the 4 or 5 snow stakes I placed en route would have done much, although where I am standing I have two good snow stakes for an anchor. The fall on either side would have been a steep slide, on the left side that slide would have dropped you off a cliff.
