Earlier this week, Rachel and I went backpacking in the Indian Peaks.  We hiked in from the Hessie Trailhead, up past Devil's Thumb Lake to the continental divide.  From there we hiked south to King lake, and back down to the car.  
  • Just climb the snow where it isn't quite as steep.
  • up, up, and away.
  • That's how.
  • Some nice folk we met up on the divide.

        • Some one got in some nice turns coming down this snow slope, I just hope they managed to stop before hitting the lake!
