I’m a post-doc at the National Center for Atmospheric Research in sunny Boulder, Colorado.  I recently finished my Ph.D. in Geology at the University of Colorado, specializing in hydrology.  In my free time I like to climb, hike, bike, and just about anything else outside.  As you will see here, I often wield a camera, and I am occasionally foolish enough to write an article for Arstechnica.com
